We've been testing drone-based seeding on a few plots this season, and it's honestly a bit surreal. Instead of walking the fields with a spreader, we load the hopper and send the drone out on a grid pattern. It drops seed exactly where it needs to go, even on slopes we used to skip because they were too risky to climb. The coverage is more consistent, and we're using less seed overall. My neighbor watched it for a while and just shook his head, but the germination count doesn't lie.
